In the morning, from Strandvägen, I saw the familiar cloud from the mouth of Linnégatan.

Arrived at Maredsous at 5.30pm. The sun peeked out from a triangular hole in the clouds. My room in the monastery: B. Victor III.

Noticed that I have Orion's Trapezium outlined on my back in four birthmarks. As a young man, until 1869, I had three birthmarks on my neck like Orion's Belt. These removed by Doctor Lamm.

The neighbour above me repeats my movements and "rolls furniture" just like in Paris.

Woke by the sound of munching rats in the room; had the distinct impression that the appearance of the rats is "occult" or a warning! Wish the rats wouldn't show.

In the morning, in a cloud, I saw a beautifully drawn woman with her profile to the right, her hair like the adjoining figure, her arms stretch forward; and she carried something in her hands which I could not see but perceived as some fabric bundled together, which she offered to someone.

Was disturbed by rats in the window panel when I was taking my afternoon nap!

A wagtail had entered the veranda; I let it out. A white cutter entered my bay and came to anchor. After a long while it left again; but then the lone sailor had a lady friend.
